Six long months have past since that day when Angel, Gunn, Illyria and Spike took on the Circle of Black Thorn, an evil army of demons that worked for the 'Senior Partners' on Earth. With a little luck and determination, the four heroes managed to defeat the massive army..... but not without help from the wild dragon that Angel managed to tame sometime during that bloody battle. Feeling exhausted from the long fight, both Angel and Spike retreated to the dark sewers where they worked out the last of their differences, with Angel saying 'thank you' to Spike.
The two 'Souled' vampires discussed their next course of action. An action which would involve them both going their separate ways in order to create two armies that will allow them to fight an evil like this much easier in the future. Before Spike left L.A however, Angel informed him about the Shan-Shue prophecy. The chance for one of the two 'Souled' Vamps to become 'human' now fell to Spike alone.
Both Spike and Illyria now travel to Rome where they hope to run into Buffy and explain the events that have happened over the past year and a half. Charles Gunn and Angel however, remain in L.A and set up their new headquarters at the 'Hyperion' an old hotel which the gang used to use for their detective agency.
Meanwhile in Eldergrove, a small town which has always been a huge vampire hotspot; a small group of teenagers take it upon themselves to take care of the huge Vampire and Paranormal activity problems. The group will later call themselves 'Seidaku' {Japanese word for Good & Evil}
